In this short video, learn how to properly seal stand-up zipper pouches (also called zip lock bags or zip lock covers) using a heat sealer, so your product stays airtight, fresh and tamper-proof.
How to heat-seal a stand-up zipper pouch
- Fill the pouch, leaving enough headspace at the top for a clean seal.
- Wipe the inside top edge so no product residue sits in the seal area.
- Press the open top with a heat sealer for a few seconds to form an airtight seal above the zipper.
- Let the seal cool, then check that it's firm and even.
